Thinking Corner

Welcome to our Thinking Corner page. On here you will find a range of activities and questions to share with your child. They are focused on developing thinking skills and enquiry in our learners and are also meant to be quite good fun. If you have any examples of activities that you have done with your child please send them in as we would love to share them on the page for other parents and pupils to see.

Think of a question about this picture. What would you ask?

'What is a thunk?' we hear you ask? The definition is this:

'A beguilling question about everyday things that stops you in your tracks and helps you start to look at the world in a whole new light"

A thunk is a brilliant way to get children (and adults) thinking, talking and understanding that yes and no are not the only answers. Each week on this page there will be a new thunk. Please take the time to discuss them with your children and tell us all about your ideas.

This weeks thunk:

'Can a kind person be unkind?'
